Charitably Loud

Just got back from Charitably Loud, and let me say that that was one awesome night. {tongue}

Things started out kinda’ slow, as the younger bands kind of… well, screamed into a microphone as loud as they could. One 7th grader in particular though, Chandler, did really well, and one of the bands had a good guitarist.

The party really didn’t start until Mr. Steckert broke out the cowbell. {wink} Billy Gotlieb, Tyler Perry, and company rocked out with classic rock, including everything from Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” to a song by the Jackson 5 (with Ken Picart), to the Beatles’ “Hey Jude.” If anything, that last song proved to me that the true character of a class is shown by how many people are willing to can-can while sweating buckets with their fellow classmates. {tongue}

Pictures should follow sometime this weekend.
