Charitably Loud
Just got back from Charitably Loud, and let me say that that was one awesome night. ![]()
Things started out kinda’ slow, as the younger bands kind of… well, screamed into a microphone as loud as they could. One 7th grader in particular though, Chandler, did really well, and one of the bands had a good guitarist.
The party really didn’t start until Mr. Steckert broke out the cowbell.
Billy Gotlieb, Tyler Perry, and company rocked out with classic rock, including everything from Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing,” to a song by the Jackson 5 (with Ken Picart), to the Beatles’ “Hey Jude.” If anything, that last song proved to me that the true character of a class is shown by how many people are willing to can-can while sweating buckets with their fellow classmates. ![]()
Pictures should follow sometime this weekend.
